Tour de Friends Cycling Club

The Tour de Friends Cycling Club was formed in June, 2016, to include enthusiastic cyclists who enjoy a recreational ride along paved trails with beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Our members include novice to advanced cyclists who like the outdoors and the camaraderie of a social ride. We ride as a group, at a moderate pace, and strive to ensure everyone has a fun and safe cycling experience while focusing on fitness and endurance. The trails we choose are mostly shaded and relatively flat. Halfway through the rides we take a break for drinks, snacks, and some time to socialize.

We also have a group ride throughout the Trilogy Community.  This ride is especially nice for those who don't have a bike rack to carry their bikes to the trails.

Weekly Rides:

  • Monday — meet at the Magnolia House at 8:00 a.m. -- 1 hour ride (riding throughout the Trilogy Community)
  • Wednesdays - meet at an outside Trail Head at 8:00 a.m.  Please contact Patsy Kennedy at patsykennedy@cfl.rr.com or 352-243-2425 to join this group ride. 
  • Friday — meet at the Main Gate at 8:00 a.m. (drive to trailheads and ride on local trails)
