Trilogy Neighborhood Watch is a group of residents whose goal is to make their neighborhood safer by: looking out for the neighbors in their area, meeting their new neighbors, and being the extra eyes and ears for law enforcement. Neighbors looking out for neighbors builds community pride and unity, reduces crime, and gives us a better quality of life.
Block Captains are your neighbors who have volunteered to be the "eyes and ears" for the community, and act as liaison between residents and the Neighborhood Watch Coordinator for communication. If you would like to be a Block Captain for areas not covered contact Karyn Kenner.

Reporting a Crime
Law enforcement strongly advises if you witness a crime in progress or notice suspicious activity to just "observe and report" from a place of safety.
- Call Groveland Police-352-429-4166 to report a non-emergency problem or suspicious activity.
- What is suspicious activity? examples:
- Stranger loitering
- Vehicles cruising with no apparent destination
- Vehicle parked for no apparent reason
- Anything that feels uncomfortable or looks out of place

- Call 911 for an emergency that needs immediate police response and is a threat to life or property (crime, fire, heart attack, serious injury)

- Call MiTech for questions: 407-857-4007 and for help with your alarm system.
- Smoke Alarm batteries should be changed yearly. The main alarm battery is generally located in the master closet in most homes. This should be changed every 3-5 years.

TRILOGY GATES
- Gates are activated to open for emergency vehicles. This is the Click 2 Enter System that was recommended by our Fire Chief and we have installed it at all gates: When in use, the gates will remain open up to 10 minutes in the event of another EMS vehicle on route:
If a resident notices a gate is open, allow about ten minutes to pass before contacting the Welcome Center. In most cases the gate will close and operate as usual.
