Trilogy Quilters

Trilogy Quilters make quilts that are distributed to homeless students in Lake County, Florida, where Trilogy is located. We provide the quilts to Families in Transition (FIT), a branch of the Lake County School District. FIT distributes the quilts to the neediest students in the district. These quilts are lightweight and provide warmth and comfort for these at-risk children.

If you’d like to join us, don’t worry... you don’t need to know how to sew. We have plenty of non-sewing tasks. Of course, we always need people who sew to make the quilt tops and complete the final binding of the quilts. And if you know how to sew, but have never made a quilt... again, don’t worry. Our quilt making members are a very talented group with a wealth of knowledge and would be happy to help you get started making your very first quilt.

We also have opportunities to help with our fundraising efforts. Although most of our quilt fabric is donated, we do need funds to purchase supplies including thread, batting, backing fabric, scissors, etc.

Trilogy Quilters work sessions take place in the Artisan Studio at 1:00 pm on the first Thursday of the month, excluding holidays. While our work sessions generally last about two and a half hours, please don’t feel that you need to stay the entire time. Some of our members just stop by for an hour or so to help out.

Our work sessions are a fun way to socialize while helping the at-risk children in Lake County. If you are interested in joining us, please stop by one of our work sessions or contact Terri Amundson.
