HOA Safety and Security Committee Notice:
Below is information for using the Call Box at the Welcome Center outside of staffed hours using your Directory Name Code and your Personal Entry Code.
Your Directory Name Code and your Personal Entry Code were provided to you when you were issued your RFID Sticker(s). Your Codes were on the Green Sheet (Gate Entry System Information) that we all received when we got our RFID Sticker(s). Please read the information on the sheet for complete details and instructions!
When you look at the screen on the Call Box, the last names shown begin with the letter “L”. You can push the letter “A” Button to scroll up or the letter “Z” Button to scroll down to find the name you are looking for.
Directory Name Code:
This is the Code that will be next to your name in the Call Box.
I tested my Code out and I also called a friend's Directory Name Code after I looked up their name on the screen of the Call Box. I scrolled down to their last name that began with a "W". To the right of their name were 4-digits. I pushed the 4-digits on the Call Box and then pressed the Call Button, you can hear the call ringing, they answered, verified it was me, then they pushed 9 on their phone that's on record and the Gate Arms opened to let me in.
Remember, this is the procedure used for Visitors, Guests, and Vendors/Service Providers that arrive at the Main Entrance (Welcome Center) outside of staffed hours. They will not see your phone number or address. When your phone rings, you push 9 on your phone to open the gate ONLY after you have identified the caller as someone you want to let in. NOTE: Please do not let in anyone you do not know!
Personal Entry Code:
This Code was provided to you on the sheet. There were examples provided on the sheet for using this Code if you are not in your vehicle. Remember, with the Personal Entry Code, you must use the # symbol first then the 4-digits. The # symbol is located at the bottom right of the Keypad. Please do not give your Personal Entry Code out to Vendors/Service Providers, etc. Again, this Code is used at the Main Entrance (Welcome Center) Call Box outside of staffed hours.
Everything is working properly! I suggest that you become familiar with these procedures by testing your two codes out after staffed hours.
